1. What is mDubai? It is an innovative channel for communication between customers and Government Departments via SMS introduced by Dubai eGovernment. 2. What is SMS Push? Customer receives information from various Government Departments through SMS.

3. What is SMS Pull?

Customer initiates a communication by inquiring on Government Services by sending a keyword along with the parameter to the Dubai eGovernment short code 4488 and receive an instant resposne to their inquiry.

4. What is the use for SMS Pull?

A user inquire about information of a government department's service and can get the information immediately.

5. How can I use the SMS Pull?

a. From your mobile phone go to Messages Menu > Write Message
b. Type the keyword for the service along with the parameter.
c. Send the message to the short code 4488.

6. What is the Short Code 4488?

It is a number belong to Dubai eGovernment which you can send the message to it.

7. What is Keyword?

A keyword is a short word for a service which used by a government organization.
For example: for Flight Information the keyword is FI

8. What is Parameter?

The Parameter comes after writing the keyword which specified the type of information you would like to inquire about.
For example: for Flight Information the keyword is FI and the parameter is EK001
Which is the Flight Number.
The Full message will be like this FI EK001.

Note: you have to consider space between the keyword and the parameter

All the mobile types: Nokia, Sony Erricsson, Simens, Motorolla, LG, etc.

No, it is available in UAE only.

13. What If I get an error message?

You should check the message you wrote.

• Check the Spelling of the Keyword .
  
• Check the Parameter is valid.
  
• Consider the space between the Keyword and the Parameter.
